Thought for the day.   #101

NEVER ALONE!

Galatians 4:6-7  (New American Standard Bible)

6Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

7Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

We are never without family when we have been redeemed. All who repent and are baptized for the remission of sin are given “family” status as a Son of God. The Spirit of His Son has replaced the spirit of sin and death that has ruled us. We have been freed from sin slavery and established in righteous liberty.

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, purchased our family membership in the heritage of God. Each of us has all the rights of the first born. Every promise given to God’s people is our personal covenant. We can come boldly into the presence of our Heavenly Father without fear of reprimand or rejection. His love and compassion are freely extended to His sons.

We can face cares and problems easily when we understand that He is ready and willing to deal with us as a loving father. He gives wise counsel and wisdom, gently guiding us in our decisions. Courage and strength is added daily that we might be successful in our obligations to Him, others, and ourselves.

His love surrounds us, His strength enables us, and His power sustains us. His grace receives us. His mercy forgives us. His blood redeems us. His righteousness preserves us, and by his stripes we are healed.

We are his children with all the rights of the firstborn. All of the abilities and possessions of God

are available to us. His provision for us is beyond measure.

The Spirit of his Son abides within us. We have all of the acceptance, fellowship and love of a very special child in the Kingdom of God.

Face each day with courage and joy!  His word is true, His promise is sure.

The “Redeemed of the Lord” are never alone.
