Thoughts for the Day #276

Revelation 12:10-11     (New American Standard Bible)

10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

Every Christian becomes weary of the constant battle against the power of evil. No matter where we turn, we feel the oppression of our spirit by the satanic forces about us.

Satan, the accuser of the brethren, is constantly ridiculing and condemning us when we fail to live according to the statutes of God. Many times, he accuses us falsely when we have done nothing wrong.

Surely the Sons of God are weary of his accusations. The Scripture reminds us that all of this will change.

The Scripture makes it very clear that the members of the Kingdom of God will be privileged to live in a land that is free from sin and bondage, soon.

There are many prophecies pointing to the Lord's return being fulfilled in this modern age. These lead us to believe that the physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ is soon approaching. In that day the enemy will be put down and the King of kings will rule and we will reign with him.

Be of good courage. Fight the good fight of faith. Our day of victory is not far away. Salvation and power, and the Kingdom of God, and all the authority of Jesus Christ, will destroy the seat of Satan. He will be thrown down and have no power to disturb the peace of God's Kingdom people.

Ours is the victory. The bondage of sin and death has already been conquered. Rejoice, as we endure the spiritual warfare of the moment. We are aware that the King of kings, is returning soon

Dear Heavenly Father, I grow weary and sometimes discouraged, at the spiritual and sometimes physical opposition that befalls me. Help me to remember that you have already won the battle. You will soon return to rule and reign here on earth. Give me courage and strength. Help me to prepare for your soon return. I pray in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my wonderful Redeemer.  Amen.
