Thought for the Day #314

Galatians 3:27-29(New American Standard Bible)

27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

Most Christians have no knowledge of their birthright.

The apostle, Paul makes it very clear in his writing to the church at Galatia, that old customs and ideas about heritage and gender are no longer valid to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Each of us became the offspring of Abraham upon our repentance and baptism in water, for the remission of sin. (Acts 2:38)

We have the right to every Covenant promise recorded in either the Old or New Testament. The blessings, provisions, protection, and inheritance of the Saints belong to each of us.

Recognize your position in the house of Israel. You're one of God's chosen, whom he wishes to bless and prosper.

Concentrate on serving the Lord with a pure heart and complete dedication. Open your spirit to His fellowship. Absorb the Word of promise, and let your faith soar.

God wants to see you succeed. He watches over you continually. Put your trust in Him. He will never fail you.

You are part of His chosen household if you have been baptized into Christ and clothed yourself in his righteousness.

Dear heavenly Father, forgive me for feeling like an outcast. It seems like I live in failure most of the time. I am guilty of trying to do things in my own strength. I have neglected my spiritual heritage, and the promises of your Covenant. I ask you to help me walk in faith and knowledge of my previleges in Jesus my redeemer. I claim your promises as my own. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
