Thought for the Day #354
ARE YOU WORTHY?
Matt 10:38-39 (New American Standard Bible)

Every action of life demands an analysis as to value.† We must weigh the cost against the value received.† Many times we determine that those things which we would like to have are too expensive for our assets to attain.
There are some things in life that money cannot buy and all of the assets in the world cannot produce.† Short-term and long-term assets require a different strategy, if they are to bring forth increase for us.
The most valuable asset that we have is the Lord Jesus Christ, who was offered for our sin and paid the price of our judgment. Jesus said that we must lose our life in order to gain life eternal.
Itís obvious that one who will not make an investment of living for the Lord is in no position to claim the benefits of his sacrifice. He paid a great price for us.† He does not handout certificates of eternal life casually.† There is a standard set.† A commitment must be made.
Jesus makes it easy.† We commit our temporal carnal life filled with sin and death to Almighty God, through the Lord Jesus Christ our Redeemer, and he returns a life of purity and beauty, free from the condemnation of sin and death. He takes our temporary life and gives us an eternal one.† Praise his wonderful name.
Make a solid investment that will reap eternal rewards. Give your life to Jesus, and he will return it to you for all eternity.† Indeed, the reward is worth the investment many times over.
Dear Heavenly Father, sometimes I forget the tremendous opportunity for eternal life that you have afforded me.† I allow my selfish desires and temporal dreams rule my life.† I forget that the day is but be breaking of the eye in comparison to eternity.† Forgive me I pray.† I renew my commitment to you and lay my life before you. I have a new determination to serve you faithfully.† I yield myself to your direction and purpose in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ.† Amen.
